Light and dark. As feti we live in darkness, only to be born into light. As Catholics, we are born into original sin, only to baptized and reborn with the light of Christ.
Light and Dark, good and evil. Good is usually associated with light and evil with darkness. But... lately I've been thinking. Just because we see in the light and the light shines the way, does it mean that the light is necessarily good? Why do we constantly search for the light? What's wrong with just running around blind like naked mole rats? Why not live in darkness? Is it THAT bad?
Our paths are illuminated by the light, but the darkness lets the stars shine bright. Food for thought.
