My Shweetie Poopshie Momo-Chan. Momo-chan Ganbatte yo!

Lately, my Momo-chan has been under the weather. I am so relieved to hear that he's not deathly ill.

Bunnies are curious creatures who like to play and do cute cuddly bunny things to make us want to play with them. But lately, Momo-chan has not been doing cuddly bunny things and he stays in his cage all day.

While I do think that this may be because of some sort of illness, I also think its because he's lonely. We haven't been petting him or giving him as much love and attention as we used to and he's usually alone for most of the day.

I've realized first hand the affects of loneliness and how it can slowly become an infection.

I am much like my bunny: I need attention and some love and affection is always a plus. And when we are deprived of it, we get sad and keep ourselves locked up in a cage until we get sick and even more lonely.

What we want is for someone to open that cage and stroke our heads and give us attention and affection and maybe a nice carrot.

But maybe it isn't up to someone else to open that cage. Maybe we have to open it ourselves and lick our own wounds and dig for our own carrots.
